Animated watercolours from Southeast Asia
Voyage: Experience the William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings of Southeast Asia was a digital installation bringing to life a stunning selection of botanical and zoological watercolours from the National Museum of Singapore.
Voyage was on show at the National Museum of Australia from 28 September to 5 November 2023.
Works from the collection were animated in a flurry of paint splashes, morphing into surreal environments where vibrant plant and animal life flourish, highlighting the interconnectedness of Southeast Asian environments.
