To mark its 20th birthday the National Museum of Australia commissioned renowned classical guitarists Slava and Leonard Grigoryan to compose 20 short pieces of music inspired by objects from the Museum’s collection.

This composition's working title was The Australia Suite. With the support of our donor community, This is Us: A Musical Reflection of Australia was performed for the first time at a concert to celebrate the Museum’s birthday in 2021 at the National Museum in Canberra.
