In late 2005, the Australian Government appointed Terence Cole, QC, to head a Royal Commission to investigate allegations that the Australian Wheat Board (AWB) had paid more than A$300 million in kickbacks to the Iraqi regime under Saddam Hussein. The Cole Inquiry's revelations have provided a rich source of material for cartoonists.
