A panel of three Canberra secondary students will interview broadcaster John Safran and Canberra cartoonist David Pope about political satire in a Talkback Classroom forum at the National Museum of Australia on Wednesday November 14 at 10am.
The panel will explore a range of topics related to theme of political satire including the history of political satire in Australia, the role of political satire in the media and the exhibition Behind the Lines: The Year's Best Cartoons, which opens at the National Museum of Australia in December.
The students set to facilitate the session are Kirrily Howarth, St Francis Xavier College; Samantha Bobba, Lyneham High School and Wil Francis, Belconnen High School.
