Whew, having spring-cleaned our Education & Kids online content, it’s now much easier to find resources for classroom learning that are relevant to you and your students. You can now browse resources by year-level or by the following curriculum areas:
- Australian history
- Indigenous culture & history
- Environment
- English
- Geography
- Arts
- Media
- Historical skills

But wait! There’s more
In the process, we also added a few new resources – well to be honest, they have been there for a little while, but only findable via links published on external sites – duh! Presenting…
- a set of very well-described primary sources
- two classroom activities (lesson plans) for the new national curriculum for English: Ned Kelly’s Jerilderie letter (for Year 5) and Wearable text (for Year 9)
For your teaching and learning pleasure – let us know what you think :)

This is great to know and of course I am especially happy about the bushranger resources. I think it is such a fascinating part of Australian History, that inspires interest in many children, and feel there should be many more resources “out there” of interest.
