Dahna Knight, Year 8, Toormina High School, New South Wales.
Judge’s comments: A strong, polished cartoon that would not be out of place in a major newspaper. The puppet is an effective and humorous metaphor, the caricature is simple and striking, and the speech balloon provides a punchy tag line. Well drawn, and nicely coloured.
